Great food! Agua de horchata was different from back home in PA. It was pouring otherwise you can sit out on the patio which is beautiful too! My family of 5 paid $100 for dinner so great prices also! These are pics of their new chairs

We often stop at this spot on the way back from Cape Henlopen. This is hearty, generous comfort food. Maybe my favorite refried beans anywhere. Their chile relleno is so cheesy, and the guacamole is perfectly seasoned; not too sharp or acidic so that the flavor of the avocado shines through. Very clean dining room.

This Mexican restaurant has become a tradition for us, and it never fails to deliver a fantastic dining experience! I always order the large shareable fajita platter, which is an absolute feast. It comes loaded with chorizo, beef, chicken, shrimp, peppers, and onions. The combination of flavors is super delicious and incredibly filling, making it perfect for sharing with family or friends. The service is consistently excellent. The staff is attentive and friendly, always ensuring that our water glasses are filled and that we have plenty of their complimentary chips and salsa. La Tonalteca offers not just great food but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere with beautiful decor. It's the perfect place to enjoy a hearty meal after a day at the beach.
